Spring out

How did everyone get the shock and spring out? I have everything done, but could not remove the spring to install the actual leveling kit. I did put hte kit on but thats while it was still in the wheel well, and this increased its overall length obviously making it impossible to reinstall it because you could not get the bottom bolt back in. What bolt was taken out to make this slide back in and how did you take it out. I was going to take out the top bolt using a ball joint seperator but i havnt heard anyone saying this is done so i did not do it yet...please let me know, thank you.

The shock and spring should just slide right out once you have the 30mm bolt removed and all the other bolts -- including the upper and lower control arms... You can get the shock and spring out without taking off the lower control arm, but you'll never get in back in with the added spacer.

My advice is to make sure you've taken everything apart, and then when re-installing, use a floor jack to jackup the lower control arm in order to get the 30mm bold back together.

It also helps to jack the extension up in order to reattach the upper control arm..

Hope your install goes okay -- Let us know how it goes..
