Need new shocks on the FX4

Fellas,

I need some input on what kind of shock your using. I have some crappy Rancho stock shock that are rusted and pop and squeak. They are about to drive me nuts. Ya'll have any suggestions as to what to replace them with. The suspension is stock for an FX4. Eventually I want a 6" Fabtech lift but that is future work.

Thanks
Frank

I have an 02 FX4 and just replaced my Rancho's as well. I went to Planet Pickup here in San Antonio and they put on the KYB Gas-A-Just Shocks. I didn't have a whole lot of knowledge on shocks but had done a little research and they said they rate them right up there with the Bilsteins without the cost. I've been using them for about 3 or 4 weeks and am happy with them. No complaints.

Thanks guy's I went with the Procomp ES3000. Got them buy 3 get 1 free and ordered the steering stabilizer w/bracket. Every since I put the 33x12.50 on I have a little shimmy in the steering.
