New Body Shock Replacement - RS9000X ?

I just want to replace the rear shocks for a better ride, I am not lifting or lowering, I have a 4x2 with 20" wheels. I am thinking of the replacing the standard shocks with the Rancho RS9000X. But, before I order them I wanted to see if there is anyone out there who has already lived with a set of RS9000X's on there stock 2004+ F-150 and what their experience has been? I am thinking that I will get a more comfortable ride at level 1 and then increase it to a higher level if the demand arises.

i think the 9000's are more of a offroad shock. i would think that the 5000's would better suit you application. i have the 5000's and they are great. there just a little stiffer than stock. which is fine with me.

The problem is that I hear the same thing with every shock for the 2004+ Ford - "they are a little stiffer." Right now if I go over certain freeway sections the back end of the truck will actually leave the ground at 65 MPH or at least it feels like it. So When someone says "A litter stiffer" does that mean that my rear wheels will only leap 3 inches into the air or 5 inches into the air?
