fx4 shocks

I have searched and cannot find stock heights of 4x4 and fx4 trucks. I was wondering if anybody could measure from the ground to the top of the fender and give me the measurements of the front and the back for 4x4's and fx4 trucks. Thanks and you guys are great.

There is no difference, as long as the tire size is the same. The FX4's are not any taller than a regular 4x4.

I have an 04 4x2. Trying to see the difference in height of my body compared to a 4x4 or fx4.Trying to see if that post about fx4 shocks raising your truck is true or not but need some minor details to confirm it before i buy the shocks for my 4x2. Needing some clearance to fit 33's on 18's and get the look im looking for. Thanks guys

The 4x4's are about 2 inches taller than your 4x4.

Wandell, since you are the suspension expert would that be enough to fit 33's on 18's and could i only do the front shocks or would it be best to also do the rears as well. Thanks for your help again and again and again my friend.

I know you can fit 285/70-17's and 285/65-18's on 4x2's by using a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit and the OEM wheels. Both of those tires are 33x11.50's. I'm not too familiar with swapping a 4x4's coilovers to a 4x2. I know one member here did it, but I can't remember how much lift he got. I would assume it was 2 inches. To me, a leveling kit would be easier and cheaper unless someone just gives you a set of 4x4 coilovers.
