Do I need to replace the tie rod ends, or can the Seals/Boots be replaced separate?

I think they are sealed. Other than the fact all the boots are bad, the there is no sign of looseness in actual tie rod ends. At $40 each, it'll add up.

Oh yeah, it's a '98 F150 4x4
