The only cons to a body lift are that you are limited to 3 inches of lift. Also, most 285/70-17's (33x11.50) are approved for 7.5 inch wide wheels. While the rims are 1/2 inch narrower than recommended, many members here and at FTW have run BFG AT KO 315/70-17's (35x12.50) on OEM wheels for thousands of miles with no problems.

also with a body lift u can no longer use your rear bumper to tow any more, that is if u dont have a hitch. and its not as sightly as a suspension lift.

What happen with the 6" Fabtech set up? I thought you were looking into that with 35" tires?

I hear ya man, they ain't cheap. Have you looked at the PA Body lift? I hear that's a pretty good set up for a body lift, comes with all the accessories to give it a good finished look.
