Shock Install Guide for '03 Expy?

I ordered up a set of Edlebrock IAS Performer shocks for the Expy. I've searched for an install guide and have not come up with one. Does anyone have link or doc? Thanks!

Sorry, I don't know of a guide. The hardest part is gonna be removing/reinstalling the springs on the coilovers. I'd suggest taking them to a shop with a large spring compressor to have the coil springs swapped.

Question

is your 03 expedition the new body style or old body style?
if it is the new body style how much did you pay for your rear shocks?

The 03-06 Expys are the new body style.

can you tell me where did you order your edelbrock shocks at and can you give me the part numbers for the front and rear shocks and your cost?
i checked edelbrock's site and they dont list any shocks for the new body style expeditions.

Thanks wandell, I think I'm gonna have to bring it in to have them changed out as they as both front and rear seem difficult to get to, plus who has a socket that large? I don't believe I can raise the truck high enough to extent the A Arm down and release the spring tension to get the shocks out safely. Much different than my '99 with the older body style, with the live axle in the rear and placement of the shocks/coils....

So yes, 2003 was the first year of the new body style. I ordered them from truckperformance.com Part numbers and cost were the following:

qty 2 EDL3460 130.00 for rear
qty 2 EDL3360 130.00 for front

Hope that helps.

**edit - Forgot to add that I have a 4x4 with the standard suspension, not the air ride suspension.

how did the install go?
i sent an e-mail to edelbrock about the part numbers and they replied that they would not fit the new body expedition, here is thier reply

"Due to the mid-2003 body style change from Ford, the shocks only fit the older body style Expeditions. Thanks.

so did they fit or maybe the part numbers you gave me were wrong?
you do have the new body style expedition right?

Let me know cause i would like to replace my shocks with edelbrock's

Mid year body change? I don't think they are very familiar with Expy's.
