Slight pull to the left

Need some advice...my 99 F150 2X4 has a slight pull to the left. It seems to be worse when at highway speed and it doesn't matter which lane or which way the road is crowned. I called the dealer and asked how much for an alignment and was quoted two differet prices. For a two-wheel alignment. the cost is $50 and for a four-wheel alignment, the cost is $80.

When I asked the dealer why I should choose the four-wheel, I was told that all too often, people select the two-wheel option only to return within a month complaining that the problem has not been corrected.

Sounds like the dealer is trying to make extra money for something I don't need. Is there any advantage to a four-wheel alignment of my truck?

Go with the 2 wheel alignment. The F150 isn't really 4 wheel alignable. Unless you start messing with the position of where the axle mounts to the springs. I get an alignment once a year. Never had a 4 wheel alignment on a truck.
Another thing that can be causing the pull is tires. If you get an alignment and still have a problem, rotate the tires.

Four Wheel Alignment WTH???? You can only align the front end of a Ford Pickup. Either your alignment guy is hitting the crack pipe or trying to squeeze you out of more money for a rear end alignment. Your rear end is a solid axle attached to leaf springs.

That guy didn't know what he was talking about or he didn't know you had a pickup. Only front wheel drive cars and those with independent rear suspensions can have a 4 wheel alignment.

If the thrust angle of your rear axle is off what are they going to do? Bend your frame or cut off the spring shackles and rebolt them? I'd like to know how you do an alignment on a solid axle. I don't see anything adjustable in the picture.
