Rancho RSX + RS9000?
Rancho RSX + RS9000?
Some dummy (me) originally posted this in the OEM Suspension forum. Perhaps it will do better here...

Greetings all,
Been here a while, haven't posted in a LONG time. This is way too helpful!
But, even having said that, and read until my eyes fell out, here goes yet another "shock" question...
I, like most, do mostly paved road driving, but, when off road, like to be comfortable there too. Nothing extreme, but gullied deer camp roads and fishing trails, as much as I can. I also tow, but not frequently, say once a month on average. I'll tow my tractor with implements, likely in the 4500# range give or take.
Many say they rarely if ever change the RS9000 settings, and truthfully, I probably wouldn't either, so here's my thought, RSX in the front, and the 9k's in the back. I can see spinning the dial when I tow, and back when done (though, I may forget!). Monroe "Shock Selector" indicates Reflex (Rancho RSX) and SENSA-TRAC® LOAD ADJUST in the rear. I'm concerned the load adjusters will just bounce along the road without a load.
I can get this setup for about $250 online, but, am still shopping...
They're going on an '02 KRScrew, 4x4.
Thoughts are appreciated,
Dob

Change of Plans
Actually, I had a change of heart. Went ahead with 9k's on all 4. $299.99 no shipping, no tax.
For the RSX + RS9000X, it's "Total: $250.96", straight from the shopping cart. Sorry about he .96, but, I did say "about $250.00".
Both prices from 4wheelonline.com.
Rears came in next day, window covers in 2 days (why not? I was already there, right?), perhaps the fronts tomorrow? They told me to expect a week.
On a scale of 1-10 shopping, I probably put in a 6-7.
Hope that helps.
PS I did read that the Ranchos do not come with instructions - they do not. I also read, "Don't forget about bushing grease...". So, I stopped by Auto Zone this afternoon...
