Leveling Kit.... Which One????

Hello all!!

I'm new to these boards and this is my first post! I just bought a 2006 Screw last week I am so loving this truck. I've already installed a K&N intake system and love it. Tinted all the windows even darker than it came with and addedd a tonneau. I'm getting ready to install some flowmasters as well. As soon as I am done with that, I'd like to get a leveling suspension kit for it, but I am not sure which one to go for? (assuming there are a lot of choices out there) Is there one kit that is better than others? About what can I expect to pay for one and last question? What website do you all recommend for truck accessories? Thanks again. I hope to post pictures just as soon as I can!!

Los

I'd go with the 2.5 inch Autospring kit or one of the copies. You can usually find them on Ebay for around $100.

When i measured my wheelwells before and after, i noticed that the front went up 3 inches, but was still half an inch lower than the back. The front should go down half an inch after alignment though. Also, go with the AutoSpring, i have never messed with anything of this sort, but i was successful at my attempt. Aaron Jones pics were a lifesaver though. Just do a search for Auto Spring Install.

Ok, another question? (Yes, I'm a newbie! ) It seems that most people are going/recommending autospring. I assume what you get from them are replacement springs that are larger/taller than the stock OEM springs instead of 2.5" spacers that everyone else seems to sell? Is this correct?

Also, what should it cost to have this done along with an alignment? I live in Northern Va. and the places I am calling all want around $500.00 for installation.
I am not sure what I should be expecting to pay. Again, thanks all for the advice!!!!

Its just another spacer except its one piece instead of some kits two pieces. This way you don't need a spring compressor for the install. If you have any mechanical knowledge, I'd try to install it yourself. There are plenty of good write ups on here with step by step instructions with pictures as well. Good luck!

The 2" Autospring kit is basically a 1 5/8 inch spacer that installes on top of the front coils. The 2 1/2 kit is a 1 3/4 inch spacer.
I purchased the 2" Autospring kit on eBay last year for $65. Finally had it put on last week. Took it to an alignment shop and they put it on and did the alignment for $115. Levels the truck out nicely.

Well? I did it! I ordered a 2.5" Autospring kit with the new offset. I was also able to get it powder coated for an extra $15. I can't wait to get it. I will try to post pics as soon as I get this all done. I tell you, I just bought this new truck about 10 days ago and here's what I've done so far:

K&N Polished Aluminum Air Intake kit
Truxedo Tonneau
Bedrug
Just order the Autospring 2.5" kit
Now I am looking at a dual exhaust cat back kit

This truck thing is going to run me out of money!!!

Why Autospring?????

First of all, it is steel and steel rusts. Especially when you consider where it is being mounted. In addition, the pieces are being placed in a jig and welded, not very precise.

I prefer the billet aluminum version. Solid aluminum, cut with a very precise CNC machine and will never rust.

Or do what I did and just replace the 4x2 coilover with a stock 4x4 coilover. You get 3" and no rubbing.
