To tell you the truth, in order to run those tires on a 2wd, ur gonna need to run the fabtech 6" plus your daystar spacer... Or You could go with the CST 7" 2wd lift...

go fabtech unless your gettin the coilover kit go with pro comp cause you get the adjustable MX-6 shocks for the rear.

i say the CST 7"

and the rize kit is for 4WD only anyway....so yeah.

What kind of budget are you working with for the lift?

procomp worked out good for me and I tested it in a quarry, did good, good flex, and smooth ride on the road back home.

Running a 6" lift plus a 2.5" spacer will make your 2wd truck the same height as a 4x4 with only a 6" lift...

That is good to know.... I am planning on lifting my '04 FX4 w/ a Fabtech 6" lift, black moto metal 951's and 35" procomp xterrains. I have been curious though because i have read a lot from these reviews and people have got the 2.5" leveling kits and the fabtech/ procomp lifts. So just to confirm, since mine is an FX4 (4x4) there would be no reason to install the 2.5" spacers?

Right. You will be fine running 35's on a 4x4 with just the 6 inch lift.

Red face

so if I get a fabtech lift, is my truck going to be "raked" in the front. In other words is there going to still be a 2.5" drop or so on the front versus the rear like stock trucks? I just want to make sure that it is leveled off.

Back to synergy...I got the Fabtech for my 2wd and it is awesome, in order to clear that size of a tire, these guys are right, you are going to need the 7" lift. Other than that, I have the Mickey T claws and they are awesome and pretty much everyone else on here as the 951's (just joking guys I don't want to start a war) so you shouldnt see any problems with those two. Good luck with your final decision.

Most lift kits are designed to level the truck. In other words most 6 inch kits will lift the front of the truck 6 inches and the rear only 4 inches.
