6" fabtech question

does the 6" fabtech lift sit level? i've seen trucks with the lift that seem to sit higher in the front. i'm scheduled to get my 6" fabtech lift, 35 toyo mt's, and 20X10 mazzi hulks installed on tuesday. cant wait. just wanted to know if the front was going to sit up, if their was something else i could add to make sure its level. thanks for your help.

what do you recommend?

if the kit comes with a 2" block, i assume that goes on top of the 2" block that comes stock. what would be the best way to assure that it sits level or slightly higher in the rear? i'm getting my lift installed in five days and would hate to have to go back in and correct it later?

If you're getting the 6 inch to make it sit level you will need to get a 4 inch block. That will make it sit level. If you would like slight rake which is good towin get a 5 inch block.

yeah, what i'm saying is my truck already has a 2" block stock. if i remove that and add a 4" block i'm really only gaining 2". with the 2.5" rake it has i still only have 4.5 in the rear. please correct me if i'm wrong but it seems like i need a 4" block and 2" add a leaf just to get level. i dont know too much about all of this, but i want to get this right the first time. thanks again, all the info helps.

also, my installer did not suggest stacking, i just thought thats what you were saying.

the truck actually has a 2 inch height increase in the rear. a 4 inch block installe d would make it sit level. for example the rear sits up 2 inches higher. if you install a 6 inch kit it will raise the front 6 inches total. take 2 of those inches and it'll make it ride even. now throw on the other 4 inches. therefore you'll have 4 inches of lift in the front after its leveled. to counter level that put a 4 inch block in the rear. I know this because i have the fabtech 6 inch kit with a 2.5 daystar. originally i had the 5 inch block. my truck still sat up higher in the front. to level it out i put the 1.5 add a leaf in the rear. now it sits even. draw it out to fully understand. sorry if its unclear i just had a fight with the old lady.

i just went with the basic kit for now. i appreciate your help. ive gotten about 50/50 answers with people saying it will be level and people saying it wont. i'm thinking of just ordering a 1.5 or 2" add a leaf.

LMAO! WOW!

Okay a lot of misleading advice has been posted in this thread. I gathered that you own a 2005 FX4, correct? Anyways since your 4WD, the Fabtech 6" lift will come with the 4" block and you'll simply replace your stock 2" block with that one. Im almost positive it will sit PERFECTLY level or maybe a SLIGHT bit higher in the front. Heres my advice, wait until its done because its probally going to sit perfect for you.

If you were getting the coil over kit You could ajust it so your truck would sit level. Like thumper said, I would get the lift put on, see how you like it, and If you want it higher in the back, just install an add a leaf...
