F150 and 285 75 16s

I believe these will fit on my 4X4 TRUCK Flareside 98'. does anyone know if they wont? Also id like to know how to raise the truck about 2 inches, ie torsion bars and maybe rear blocks?

Last questions is, i was thinking of changing shocks, any recommendations?
Thanks

Yah i saw a truck today with those tires. pretty big. and should fit on ur 4x4. i have several friends that run 315 70 17 on OEM wheels and have little rubbing. also about the lift, you can crank the t-bars and get 2-3 inches for free. or u could get a body lift with gap guards and get 3 inches of lift. But make sure u buy running boards to cover up the frame under the truck!

yea they will fit, and like f150Lariatc said you can gain a good 2" in the front most of the time from the torsion bars and an add a leaf can give you 1.5 - 2" in the rear, imo i wouldnt go for block. As shocks go I have the pro comp es 3000s and they'r a good all around shock for off road and highway. And if you only use your truck for highway use i would look at ethier monroe or bilstiens.

Yes, they will fit easily without cranking the torsion bars. I would crank them up enough to level the truck and forget about the block or add-a-leaf personally.
