body lift question

I just got a 2004 supercrew FX4 and want to put 35's on it but keep getting the "runaround" from everyone on what size lift i have to get and either a body lift or suspension lift. Would a 3 inch body lift be enough to clear the tires and would that throw any other gaps on the body off or sumthin bout the bumper not fitting correctly? any info would be greatly appreciated.

yes u will fit 35's. as far as the gaps the only ones u should have are between the frame and body hense body lift. all respectable body lift companies provide bumper brackets so that they will look like they do stock on the body. performance accesories i believe includes them and any other parts you may need. best bet is call a couple companies and ask what the kit includes and if there is any other optional parts (bumper brackets and they may try to sell u the inner fender rubber that covers the cap created by the body lift)

You can fit 35x12.50's on a 04-06 4x4 pretty easily. You can fit them using only a 2.5 inch leveling kit, if you use the OEM wheels. You can also fit them by using a 3 inch Performance Accessories body lift. However, I'm told that a body lift is much harder to install on the new F-150's than on the 97-03's.
