Leveling kit question

I went today to the store I am buying my tires and wheels for my 05F150 FX4 and he said I would be able to fit a 305/50R20 Nitto Terra Grappler without any modifications. This is exactly what I want but I have yet to see anyone on this site put these big of tires without at least a leveling kit. So my question is, Should I put a 2-2 1/2 inch leveling kit on and what kind/cost? And should I trust the worker at the store bc he might just be trying to make a sale. Sorry for basic questions I am new to the truck world.

That is basically a 32x12.50-20 tire. It's a little shorter and a little wider than your OEM tires, so it should fit easily unless you go with a really weird wheel. Personally, I'd go with a 305/55-20 (33x12.50) and a 2.5 inch Autospring leveling kit. The Autospring kit is about $100 and pretty easy to install.
