Unhappy Help with DJM lower Control Arm install

Tried to install a DJM lower control arm this afternoon, and had to back out. The front sway bar connector got all torqued up and started pushing the bar up real hard. I was afraid that it would break if i lowered the truck on it. I've got the Roush front suspension drop (coil, shock and front roll bar), but it works fine on the stock lower control arm. The hole for the connector seems off when you line them up, or the connector is too long. Anyone else run into this?
