Edelbrock IAS shocks

About 2 years ago I put Edelbrock IAS shocks on my 97 f150. They are a pretty good shock. Not great but good. Well two weeks ago when I was changing to my summer tires I noticed that the right front had leaked a lot of oil. Then I started looking at all of them. They are all leaking oil. I sent Edelbrock an email and no reply. I sent another email and no reply. I am going to call them on Monday. Has anyone else had this problem. If so did they honor the warranty? I can't find my reciept from Napa auto parts.

I know its no help to you but I had the same problem with mine. After about 1.5 yrs they didn't seem as firm as new. They were all leaking fluid. I also did not have my mail order reciept. I threw them in the trash and bought some Rancho 9000's. I've been pleased so far.

Go to NAPA and see if they still have you in the computer. If you are a regular customer, they should have a record of the transaction either with your name or phone number.

I'm glad to have read this post. Thanks for sharing. May save me the trouble as I was considering the Edlebrock shocks.

Sorry I think I put this thread in the wrong section. I only have a stock suspension. Thanks for the replies. I can't afford new shocks I hope they will replace them. They seemed really good at first but now they are really soft.

You must of gotten a bad run of IAS's. I had 4 on my 99 Ranger. I towed a small travel trailer with it. They still worked good after 65000 miles when I traded it in on the 05 F-150.

The right front is the one that lost the most oil. If I hit a good size dip in the road the right front bounces like there is no shock at all. I'll let you know if edelbrock comes through on there warranty.
