Anybody wear out a set of Edelbrocks?

I ve got 50-60K on a set and am trying to decide if I should replace them. Front pass. side is totally shot, I figure the drivers side is not too far behind. Does the "Limited Lifetime Warranty" cover wear? Anybody ever send a set in? Purchased a Autozone...should I just drop them on their counter?

They have been great shocks, only complaint is that they didn't give a whole lotta warning before the one just stopped working entirely yesterday. (hit a pothole at about 70 mph on I-80 in PA, and the truck shuddered to almost a full lane change before I got ahold of it...pretty scary.)

What's the deal guys?

Matt

No, most warranties do not cover normal wear like that, especially warranties on shocks. Only premature or unusual wear.

And if you hit a pothole at 70MPH, depending on the size of it, of course theres a chance of something breaking...I wouldnt call it unexpected.
