Shocks

I order some rancho rs 5000 Saturday and they called me today wanting to know if my trucks GVW was 7700 or not. What does it matter.

The F150 has an heavy duty option, the 7700 lb payload package. The primary difference is 7-lug wheels and a heavier suspension.

Your truck will say F150 7700# or F250 Light Duty on it if you have this package. If you dont have any of those, you have a regular F150.

The shocks for the F-250 Light Duty/7700 are probably valved differently than the F-150.
