front end knocking

New to the board, any help would be appreciated!!!
I hear this knocking when i go over hard bumps (potholes!!), sounds like something is loose. i think i have narrowed it down to coming from just the other side of the brake assembly, any ideas of what this might be or what to look for?

1997 4x4 xlt

Thanks,
Don

I have a 99 f150 4x4 and mine makes a knocking noise in the front. I believe I tracked it to the torsion bar. When I bought the truck the driver's side bar was cranked up alot more than the passenger's side. Is this correct?

Torsion bars are not all exactly the same. Some will not have as much thread left on the screws as others, it just depends.
