Rancho name??

I heard not to long ago that ford just puts the rancho sticker on their shocks and tells people they are getting ranchos! How does ford get away with doing this? Or is this not what they do at all?

thanks!

Thumbs up

The FX4 trucks come preloaded with Rancho shocks from what I have found it is a rancho shock built to ford spec according to WANDELL he states I quote "specially valved shocks built to Fords specs. They are valved the same as the shocks used on the towing package so they are not the same as RS5000's, RSX's, etc"
so to answer your question they are Ranchos
