Cool beefing up the suspension

ok so i would love to do a lift with bigger rims and tires but
1..i dont have the money
2. i dont really go offroad so its not so practical
3. its my daily driver so i wouldnt want to spend the extra on gas...

so....besides beefier shcoks.....is there anything else i can do to beef up the front suspension...like more replacement suspension parts...what i do plan on doing is getting some 17x9's and put some bfgoodrich a/t 285/70's and possibly crank the torsion bars a little..so if anyone has any input please let me know and what else i can do..thanks

That will fit fine. Personally, I'd go with a 10 inch wide wheel.
