Steering Stabalizer?

Anyone ever put a steering stabalizer (if possible) on their 97 through 02 body style 4x4?

No, but I'd like to do it, too.

Funny thing, I was thinking about putting one on my '99 but not sure how much good they actually do. I think Bigtruck311 has the skyjacker if I'm not mistaken.

I bought one from JCwhitney for $50.00. I'd can't remember the brand, but I could find out for you if you'de like. The intallation is very simple and It did make a difference. The only bad thing is it came with a yellow boot, but where it is located, you can't even see it unless you are under the truck, and the boots are cheap if you wanted to change the color.

I got a set of Pro Comp shocks for Christmas and they came with a free stabalizer. However, there was a part backordered and they just got delivered. I havn't had a chance to install them yet. Hopefully, next week.

Wandell what size shocks did you get? I was thinking about getting ethier the pro comp 3000s or 9000s. I was looking at 4-wheel parts and they a package deal of 4 3000s and a stabalizer for like 135 which was the reason I asked about the stabalizer.

That's what I got, the ES3000's with the free stabalizer. However, you have to pay about $35 for a mounting bracket for the "free" stabalizer.

Did you have to buy the shock and bracket separate from summit?

Does any vendor make a steering stabilizer (preferably dual) for 2005 F150 4x4?

Fabtech makes a dual steering stabalizer for the 04-06 F-150's. However, I'm not sure if it can be used without their 6 inch lift kit.
