Ball joints

i have a 97 F 150.and the rubber on the ball joint is really dryed out, and there is no zirt fitting on them, so i cant grese them. where could i find some really nice ones too replace3 mine...thanks for any help

Ball joint source

hello... my addition to your sources... Autozone; Moog lower BJ's just cost me about $30 each... best to "borrow" (Basically you buy it then return it for credit. I paid $99+tax which was all refunded) their ball joint press too or you'll never get it done. You might get the old ones out without a press using heat and the famous BFH. The new ones won't go in without risk of damage to them without a press. Trust me... I just replaced all 4 ball joints in a '97 F150 2WD this past weekend. Took about 3-hours. (BTW; the uppers require replacing the entire control arm at about $73 each. The Moog replacement control arm/ball joint assembly has a replacable ball joint too). All new joints have grease zerks. Good luck!!!
