Lift block install...1995 F-150?
1995 F-150 4x4...
My buddy got some of those red urathane 2" lift blocks that go underneath the front coils. We installed them without much issue but the wheels had some serious camber issues. Dealership can't align...requires some more parts. Buddy ordered them from local shop...apparently they are 1/4" steel brackets or something and requires you air chisel the factory ones off to swap these in...as well as some drilling, fitting, etc.
First of all I'm looking for any tips or words of advice before we tackle this...he already discovered, as I had suspected all along, that he'll need some new, longer shocks. Going to order some Rancho RS5000's from Sam's Offroad once he get's the appropriate part numbers from Rancho. We think this will set the front up a little taller than the rear so he plans to swap out the rear blocks for taller ones. Probably 2" factory so 4" aftermarket? I know this is by far, NOT the preferred method of doing a lift, but he doesn't want to spend what it takes to do it right.
Is he going to get hit with any more surprises / issues going this route? On top of all this, he wants to install a remote keyless / remote start kit as well...

Hey Adam,
I don't know anything about the suspension stuff, but my roomate from college put a Viper 791XV remote start/alarm on my GMC with free labor. It is awesome but took him 6.5 hours, and he worked for Best Buy for two years doing it for them. My dad with his electrical engineering degree said it would have taken him 10 or more hours. It is awesome though, I love it! I hope that you are doing well and congrats on paying the truck off, I read about it in the other thread. Have a good day!
