add-a-leaf questions

I ordered the 2" add-a-leafs for my truck and was wondering how this seemingly thin, but heavy strip of metal that is only.607" thick will lift my truck 2".

think of it like a spring, the arch of that spring is going to lift the rear of the vehicle the 2", good luck

Thought about the add a leaf. Now I'm thinking 6" Fabtech, 3" body, and Add a leaf when I get more cash. I just got new tires too, maybe in a year or so she'll be on 38's...
BTW- Bigtruck311, I love your truck, that thing is absoulutely kick ***!!

I added a 2" lift to the front of my 05, but couldn't stand it bulldogging everytime I put a trailer behind it. Added the leafs and it sits up in the rear close to stock again. I haul a 4800 lb tractor around some and really love the leafs on those days.

Each truck might be different, but when I put the add-a-leafs on my truck it lifted it about 3.5 inches. I about crapped, since I didn't even want to entertain turning my torsion bars up that far, but they went up 2.5 inches and everything is fine. Hope this helps.

I just ordered the Pro Comp Add-A-Leaf for my truck because the Autospring 2.5" raised the front a little more than I had hoped. Anyone know where I can buy the U-bolts?
