Question Firestone Ride Rite Helper Springs

Was supposed to pick up a 2006 F 150 SCREW this afternoon. Dealers was supposed to install a set of Firestone Ride Rite ( no drill ) air helper springs. They called this morning and said they wouldn't fit without drilling. I told them not to drill since I don't want new holes in my frame. Firestone SKU 2350 was supposed to fit. Dealer told me something about earlier frames had a vibration and there had been a frame change. Anyone heard of this? Of course Firestone is off until the first of next week, which is to be expected because of the Holidays so I can't talk to anyone there. Any help would be appreciated from this Newbie. New to the F150 but traded a 250 SD 6.0 and have been on that forum forever.

Honestly a few 1/2" holes in your frame will not harm it. They are going to be covered by brackets anyways. In my opinion you/your frame will be fine. About the frame change?? I haven't heard anything about it. Why did you get rid of your SD!!!
