alignment problems!!!

I have a 97 with a 4.6. The torsion bars are cranked and I have an add a leaf in the rear. I also have 305/70/16 tires on 10" rims. I have had the truck aligned 4 times in the last 6 months. Luckly I have a buddy who owns a shop so they were all free except one. The problem is, The passenger side upper control arm keeps coming out of adjustment. All the ball joints were replaced 10,000 miles ago. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks in advance.

Seth

If the ball joints have been replaced, then that leaves the contorl arm bushings. or the control arm mounts are broken.

Or, wheel bearings.

What exactly comes out of alignment? Camber? caster? toe?

sounds to me like your adjustment cams are crap and are moving around on you, i use some marking paint and i make my cams after every alianment so if anything moves on me i will know, from all my hard offroading i killed my fabtech adjustment cams after about a year, and went with some higher grade ones that cost about $50 and they havent moved on me yet, good luck

I have to agree with Bigtruck311, having the cams move is a pain in the but. If the bolts are streached, add a washer and reef the hell out of it. Or better, replace with high quality cams and re align.
