Did I get jacked w/leveling kit??

I ordered a 2 3/4" lift kit from Suspension Max, the brand is called Springtech. What is suppose to come with the kit is a front leveling spacer and a rear shackle. I just took it out of the box and the aluminum spacer only measures 1 5/8" tall, the shackle for the rear measures 2 1/2" ctr to ctr. I am not sure if I was going to install the rear shackle. Does this mean that the front will only be raised 1 5/8"?

Thanks.

Due to the fact that the spring assy is mounted inboard, and the lever action of the lower control arm, you will get 2-2.25" lift at the wheel.

Thanks....phewww

Now my next question.....The truck is a '04 f150 Supercab 4x2. By installing the front leveling kit ( aluminum spacer) , the front will should now be about level with the back. However, it is still going to be lower than a F150 4x4 with a front leveling kit installed. If I went ahead and installed the shackle in the rear ( or lifting block that comes with the 4x4), how do I get the front up an additional 2 - 2 1/2"?? Would installing a daystar kit make sense or would that be too dangerous. I figure since the daystar is installed inside the spring cup and not on the outside like the aluminum spacer, it may be ok.

Let me know your thaughts and thanks.

You can't combine the two leveling kits. That's the reason you see leveling kits up to 2.5 inches. If you go higher, you run into alignment and other issues. If you want your truck taller, just install a complete suspension lift or a body lift.

Adding a block or shackle in the back should not be a big deal, the 4x4 has one. What if I installed the same coilover that comes with the 4x4 on the 4x2?? Will everything be ok or are ther other things I am not taking into consideration??

Thanks Wendell.
