1. if i purchased pro comp lifted coil spring would they fit my vehicle i found them on summitracing and they said that they would for .
2.They say that it would add a 6'' lift to the front, would i have to change out my front shocks in order to accomidate the new springs or would i be okay.
3. here is the link please help me figure this out , i dont want a full lift kit or a body lift b/c of money.

go to page 41 and its the top one!!

Explorer Pro Comp Lifted Coil SpringsA smoother ride.

These Explorer Pro Comp lifted coil springs give you the extra ground clearance you need without sacrificing ride quality. They give you a smooth ride and still respond great when subjected to off-road conditions. They add 1 in. to 6 in. of ride height, depending upon the application.

please respond!!

hey,
first off i've never seen a coil sprong that adds 6" of lift by itself. i have seen kits with 3" spindles and 3" coil springs, but if you get 3" coil springs you need new upper control arms and new shocks. i didn't see on the link listed, the springs your talking about. maybe i overlooked it.

hope this helps you.

instead of using the spring could i use a Pitman Arm whick would give me a 4inch lift according to summits website and is 58.00 a piece. i thought that this would be better b/c i have heard that when u go 3'' or higher then u have to replace the upper arm and to me that seems like u have conti oon adding and adding so would this pitman arm work.

please let me know

It sounds like you are pricing individual pieces used in a suspension lift kit. There are many more pieces involved than the ones you have referred to. The first questions are how much do you want to lift your truck and how much do you want to spend?
