Truxxx 3 inch leveling kit???

I am buying a 6 inch lift kit soon (please look at my other thread "Battle of the Lifts" for some help) for my 2005 4wd f-150 and was wondering 2 things. This i am pretty sure is a yes to my question but jsut in case, can i add this 3 inch leveling kit on top of my 6 inch lift for a total of 9 inches of lift? If yes to that will the rear of my truck be lower then the front end of my truck?

well tech. it would be 11 inches in the front and 9 inches in the back. The trucks to start out with are unlevel with the front lower than the back. So say you put a 6 inch lift kit on your truck, you would have the six inches in the front and usually like 4 in the back if you wanted it level. If not level you would put 6 in front and 6 in back and you would still have the front lower, and if u added a 2 inch spacer in the front you would just be raising the front to the back. so a leveling kit does not make it 11 inches all the way around. So if your truck is level allready and you put a 3 inch leveling kit ( which is pretty big for a leveling kit) then your front end will be 3 inches higher in the rear.

ok thats really confusing haha hope this helps.

And your friend probably did a full 6 inch all the way around then added the daystay to make it level and then added the body lift. so it is 11 inches in the front but only 9 in the back.

Geez stop crying. Just get a 6in lift and a body lift and you'll be set. Oh another way you could get 8 inches of lift is the 6 inch lift and the spacer in the front and a block in the back.

correct and the crying statement was uncalledfor

Ok i suggest get a 6 inch lift, and body lift. And when you get the6 inch lift get a 4 inch block in the rear. it will be level with a total 9 inches of lift. Will look GREAT! Yah you just cant tow with the bumper! not a biggy.

hopes this helps!

also you can just get a 7.5 inch lift if you want, and i think skyjacker makes an 8 inch. Just depends on what truck you have and if its a 4x2 or 4x4. Just do some research youll find what you need.

Thanks f150lariat, did help. I hate people like him, those are the people who ruin forums by flaming peoples threads and posts. Instead of the 3 inch body lift how bout using that Truxxx 3 inch leveling kit and then adding the boxes in the rear, how would that turn out opposed to the body lift?
