Superlift or Skyjacker??

I think I have finally narrowed it down to these two choices - either the 5" Superlift or the 6" Skyjacker. What are your guys' opinions on these two suspension lifts? I might also add a 2" Performance Acces. body lift on top of the susp. lift. I'm thinking 37x12.5 tires with the susp. and body lift--let me know if I'm wrong.

I have a 97 F150 XLT (std cab, short bed, 4.2L V6, 5 spd transmission)

Also, I just noticed this with buying a Skyjacker system...
"Regular Cab, Short Bed Models, are equipped with a factory tapered 2” Block. For correct driveline angle, a flat 2” block will be needed. Available from Ford Dealer."
Does anyone have any clue about how much this block costs, and if I can get it from anywhere other than Ford dealership?

thanks.

two things, first ignore dodeslayer (cool name though), dont buy anything with tough or rough country on it. trust me u will regret it. and seccondly, u will need some major gear modifications if u want to run 37's with a v6. i would look into gears before the lift.
keep it ford

What gears are recommended? What's the difficulty? Cost?

What tires/wheel size would I be safe running with the stock 4.2L gearing?

37" with the V6 i would recomend 4.88, install cost varies from regions but it is pretty pricey, $200-500 per axle, if you have never been inside a diff i would recomend finding a freind who you trust that has done a ring and pinion before or take it to a trustworthy shop, good luck
