FNG question/ lowering

So Hello,

Just joined and have a few questions.
Just bought '02 f150 supercab 4x4.
Was always a GM man till I had to replace my '72 GMC Jimmy. Was on a new truck search and I came home with a F150.

Anyway I had noticed that there's an available lowering kit for the GM 4wd products. Now I know its weird but I'm in and out of the truck 30+ times a day and soon we'll have snow and a lower truck would make life easier.

So go ahead and laugh it up, but if anyone knows of a lowering kit, I'd like to know.

TIA,

Paul

I can't think of any brands off the top of my head but they are available. You can lower the rear pretty easily by removing the factory 2 inch lift block or installing a set of lowering shackles. If the front is a little too high after this you can back off the preload on the torsion bars. Just be sure to get a front end alignment if you do adjust the torsion bars. Also, welcome to the site.
