bigger than 6" suspension lift...

I was wondering what suspension lifts bigger than 6" are available and from what company for my truck. I have a 97-03 body style 4x4 F150 (reg cab, short bed, fleetside).

Does anyone make an 8" or 9" lift?? and if so what tires can I fit with them?

Thanks in advance.

Full throttle suspension makes a 10" lift for our model trucks. It is cheaper to buy a 6" suspension lift, then a 3" body lift and crank your torsion bars. You will get about the same amount of lift and should be able to run 38's with no rubbing. I haven't ever heard anything about the Full throttle suspension though, so I would try and find some things out about it first. Good luck with it.

full throttle and CST and fabritech all make over 6" lifts for 97-03 style F-150 i dont think any of them have the ride or offroadability of a 6" fabtech and a body lift, and they are also pretty pricey, the fabritech is also a straight axle conversion but i have heard from others that it is not the best made, good luck

okay, thanks. I am wanting to try to stay away from body lifts b/c I hate the way it leaves a gap between the tailgate and rear bumper.

How bad is the gap with a 1" or 2" body lift? (got pics??) ...& what size tires would I be able to run with the Fabtech 6" susp. lift and the 1" or 2" body lift?

Thanks, again.

get the Performance Accessories 3in body lift. Comes with bumper brackets that move the bumper up...no gap. Also get the gap gaurds and you're good to go.

CST(7.5") or the Fabtech longtravel kit (7.5"?) allow for 37's if that is what you are after. I would personally never go with a bodylift.

the CST kit after install only measures a tad over 6", and the fabtech 7.5 is for 4x2 only he has a 4x4 so it wont work

Regardless what the CST measures out to be 37's fit because my neighbor has this setup and they fit without a problem which I have not seen other 6" lifts capable of. But if he wants to fit bigger tires than 37's this is kit is not for him unless fiberglass fenders or a bodylift come into play.

I could have sworn someone on this site has the Fabtech 7.5 on a 4X4, either I have mistaken or that person has done a modification to make it work.

with the fabtech 6" 37" 12.5 can be mounted on a 10" rim if proper backspacing and front torsion bars are cranked and triming the front valance
