PLEASE help with suspension puzzler...

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help me out here...I have a 98 2WD F150, long bed with the V6. I have the Fabtech spindles on right now, and I am looking for a lift that can be in addition to that. Seems like alot of the lifts require you to have either the V8 or a X-Cab, which I have neither of. My tires are done, and I need new ball joints, so I figured I might as well do it up right if I'm going to have to replace things anyways. I'm confused about what will or will not fit. Most systems include spindles, which I obviously don't need. Another question is...what is the difference between the systems with upper AND lower control arms VS. the ones with just new uppers? What are the pros/cons between the two? I know I asked alot here, but I would greatly appreciate some help!

Thanks!
-Chris

I'm not postive but I think the systems with both upper and lower control arms offer increased suspension travel for better off road performance.
