Inexpensive height

I have got a 99F150 4x4 screw, other than a 3 inch body lift, is there any other way to give a little bit of height that is not a suspension lift( a little to expensive for the military man). I am wanting to put som 315/75r16 tires, with new wheels for the width of course. Any help for this new guy would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can crank up the preload on the torsion bars to gain 1 to 2 inches of lift. The only way to fit 315/75-16's on a stock 4x4 is to mount them on the stock 16x7 wheels and crank up the preload. Personally, I'd go with the body lift. THis will give you enough room to fit 315's on wider aftermarket wheels which will look much better.

Sounds good, I know the body lift is not that much, and the gap guards are pretty cheap to. I bow to Wandell the great and powerfull
