Question Daystar coilspring spacers

Hey i have a 2002 2wd supercrew and i want to add some 2 1/2 inch coilspring spacers?they say that it Requires Aftermarket Control Arms. what is the reason for that or are they just tring to get me to buy something i dont need. Thanks for the help

You need the new control arms to get a proper alignment. Without them, your truck's alignment will be horrible.

I was thinking that anything over 2.5 inches will require new upper control arms. Maybe it was 2 inches.

Anything over 2" requires them. Brace yourself what the new control arms will cost (about $300-400). Pretty much make it about the same price as a spindle kit once you add in the rear blocks, hence why I have a spindle lift now.

You could do the 2 inch spacers and a spindle lift.
