harley drop
i have a 2000 ext cab harleydavidson f-150. and i hear they are stock droped one inch all around. but there is still a huge fender to tire gap in the rear, and not so bad the front. any sugjestions on what kind of drop to go with? i dont wanna tuck tire, but i wanna be lower and with a even stance? can any one help me out?
check out the suspension forum at www.nhtoc.com/forum
what exactly are you looking for? same stock soft (bouncy) ride but a tad lower? better firmer handling? a lot lower than now but still a comfortable ride?

lol and if you're lookin at the pics of my truck in my galleries they havent been updated in about 2 years
been doing lots of modding since then
as for the drop right now i'm 3" in the front and 4.5" in the rear. rides amazing and handles ridiculously. gotta watch out for big bumps or ruts in the road more than usual and occasionally bottoms out in the back, but it handles great and has a nice firm ride. stock was too bouncy and swaying for me. For daily driving though if you wanna keep it pot hole capabile, a 1" front drop and 3" rear drop would look great and still ride great and handle pretty good.
grille was a peice of cake to swap out, direct bolt in. suspension is a piece of cake.
so far my truck just ran high 15's. every time i've gone i've had full tank of gas, spare and tailgate in, **** in the bed, subbox in, etc., and 100% humidity on 85* summer nights. in ideal conditions it can run mid 15's. I just got it tuned up at JLP and went from 226 hp 284 tq all the way up to 234 hp 330 tq which is pretty damn good considering stock 5.4's dyno in around 200 hp 270 tq. With this new cool weather and my new chip, i'm running it again tuesday for hopefully low-mid 15's
