Puzzled; Suspension decision
ok so my issue is that i want my truck to look like its an off-road truck, but im not actually gonna take it off-road, i just love the look, so heres the issue:
1) raise it up in the front with the torsion bars and just put some nice 16"x8" rims with 33" tires, but i dont know if that would do any damage, some say it doesnt and some say it does, my truck is fairly new so i would imagine it wouldnt be too bad, plus i dont mind the stiffer ride, ill just put better shocks on for a better ride and hope it does something.
2) go for a body lift and be able to fit the 35" tires on a 16"x10" rim, i would have to get my exhaust changed a little bit but i dont think that would be a problem.
im just looking for some ideas and advice on what other people think i should do.
ofcourse i would love to do a 4-inch suspension lift but i want to do this asap and i really dont need the suspension lift if im not using it for off-roading.
thanks

really?
and that wont rub at all...cuz i know this guy that raise it in the front with the torsion bars and still had to cut some of the plastic valance cuz the tires were rubbing, but im not sure if they wer 33 inch or 35 inch tires, i have to go talk to him and check it out, otherwise, i might just go for 16x8 inch wheels with 33 inch tires, thanks a lot

dude, i checked out your f-150 and i saw the pictures of your truck when you had the 16X10 rims with the 285/75 and i love the look, thats exactly what im looking for, and just a few questions, now you have the fx4 i have the regular 4x4 is there a stock height difference and can you clear those tires easier than me? and check out my galleries if you can, thanks a lot man, you seem to help out the most in these msg boards, especially for us amateurs.

quick question
hey wandell, what kind of tires did you have on your 16x10 rims when you had your truck at stock height, i cant find any 285/75 that are reccommended for that size rim, i found 305/70, which i guess wont be bad and ill get if i cant find any 285's so if you can just let me know, thanks a lot
