Angry Front end noise, someone help!!!!

my father says im **** about these noises and i guess i am, but the only noise i want to hear out of my truck is the exhaust and intake, please help

i think it has to do with my suspension put i dont know what it is, i just got my idler arm replaced which was under my warranty so no biggy, put idk what this noise is, maybe the shocks? or is it something else. its like a noise that i guess would sound like rusty springs, but thats just what it sounds like, could it possibly be that my idler arm is just breaking in? idk what to think, please someone give me some information about front end noises and theyre possibilities of what it could be, thanks a lot

When are you hearing the noise? Going over bumps? Low Speed? High Speed? Turning? How many miles, and what year?

Angry reply

going at a slower speed, both while turning and straight, i have 52,000 miles on it and its 2003 supercrew, recently i almost got into an accident but amazingly somehow i drove off the road, up a small bank/hill, and into an aparment complex. idk if that put stress on it in anyway, or if its the idler arm, and its only when im moving cuz i tried bouncing it while it was stopped and there was no noise, i mean the ride is fine but the noise is just annoying.

Items that were squeaking and replaced on my F-150. Idler Arm. That helped, but not totally. Pitman arm. Again, it helped, but not totally. Lower Ball Joints. Eliminated most of the squeaking. Shocks. No effect. Rear Spring Bushings. Some more help. Sway Bar ends and bushings. Last little bit gone. Tires. Got rid of the slapping. The truck now rides like brand new, and is quiet, too.

I also needed a new hub assy, but that didn't squeak. It rumbled a bit, especially when turning. You could feel it more than hear it.

Cool thanks, ill look into those parts

thanks a lot, but did it cost you a lot or is any more of that covered under my warranty, because i have the premium care warranty and the idler arm was covered, but i think most of my front suspension is covered as well...i need to look into that, oh one more question, is it really a big deal, and should i worry it if the ride is nice and still feels strong?

Cost me the parts. I did the labor myself.

If it's covered under warranty, I'd take it in, and make them figure it out. Don't accept it untill the noise is gone.
