Howdy! From what I understand, the FX4 package includes some skid plates. I'm curious as to their location and what exactly they protect. Tonight I decided to take an alternate route home (through a muddy drainage ditch/ravine) on which I bumped the underside of the front end. Is there anything to worry about? Also, when there is no choice but to drive across a small hill, how steep is too steep? Thanks in advance!

 

The FX4 and old Off Road package included skid plates for the front end, fuel tank and transfer case.

 

So a little bump up front ain't nothing to worry about?

 

I wouldn't think you. Just take a look and make sure everything looks all right.
