I've been told that the senso-tracs are a waste of money. Go with the standard yellow truck shocks. But I don't have first hand expereince. Please let us know what you choose and how they work.

bob1,
I found the Monro Sens-a-trac on sale at Sears, 41.99 installed and I'm pleased with their performance. I only have a 2-wheel drive and don't get offroad. I've had Monroe on other vehicles and found them to be a good buy for the price.

i work at sears for a post college job right now and alot of ppl buy the senso-tracs which are pretty cheap. they are also warrenty for life. so u buy for the life of ur truck. as far as mechanics go...now days you have to watch out everywhere u go. our boss isnt around really ever and i can honestly say i would trust the ppl in our shop but thats maybe just because i know them already. just sit in the waiting room and watch!

I don't drive off road at all. I want a shock to absorb potholes and expansion joints so I can have a smooth, comfortable ride in my Lariat. I don't want offroad shocks that transfer every bump straight up my spine. Both of my trucks have Monroe Reflex shocks and I'm very satisfied with them. Everyone that rides in my truck comments on how nice it rides.

If I had to replace my shocks tomorrow, I'd buy Reflex shocks again.
