what can be done ahead of time on a body lift?
what can be done ahead of time on a body lift?
Ok, I'm hooked. You guys have convinced me of the good look of the body lift.
I'm ordering the the 3" PA body lift this week.
In preparation, I've ready many threads and tried to prepare my truck for "lift day"
I understand that it takes a substantial amount of time and I'm prepared for that. In planning, the following has been done:
1. Bed bolts have been removed and new hex head bolts put in place.
2. Each cab bolt, and bumper nut has been loosened and retightened using an impact wrench.
3. I requested the instructions from PA and they have sent them. I have studied and reviewed them. Ok, wife says I memorized them.
4. I'm wondering if there is anything else that I can do ahead of time that would reduce the time it takes on "lift day."
Thanks in advance!

Good. I was able to get 3 of them loose with hand tools, drilled out a 4th, but the other to had to meet up with Mr. Cutting Torch, but he definitely settled the argument.
Wandell, I've ready many of your previous posts. Lots of good helpful items. I have air tools, so I'm hoping I can start on a Friday evening getting it ready to lift and then have Saturday to put it up and back together.
