Lift 2'' for 97 f150 4wd

I was wondering if anybody makes a 2 inch lift kit for a 97 f150 4wd. I have been looking but so far no luck. Also If I was to install a leveling kit could i fit 33x12.5xr15 BFG's on the truck. Sorry but i don't have any pics at the moment . Thanks in advance.

You don't need a lift

One of my neighbors has a 97 with 33's on it with no lift. Just crank the torsion bars up a little and run 8" wheels. It looks REALLY good, too!

Yes they make a 2" and 3" body lift for your truck, try performance accesories. Forget about the leveling kit because they do not make it for a Ford (97-03) 4WD. We have torsion bars, if you gives those a crank you can fit 33's with minimal or no trimming to the valence. This will make the truck ride a little stiffer, but hey its a truck not a cadilac.

I put a leveling kit on my 2002 F150 Supercrew FX4 ( new torsion keys ) and have 305/45/22's which are 32.8 inches tall and they fit perfect. not going to wheel it though, if you crank up the factory ones you should get enough lift to fit the 33's, if you put in new leveling keys then you'll be able to get another 1" or so out of them. Good luck.

up, up, up

Another 4wd 97' F150 Eh? I would highly recommend a cranking of torsion bars and a 2" lift blocks. A decent lifted truck look. I have 31's but 33's on offset rims would look pretty sweet. My friend had the same truck as me but a short bed. He got a 4" lift with a body lift, torsion bars and add-a-leaf but he said it was a pain. I tried the torsion bars and blocks. 2" lift, no hassle. Very sweet. Also, I think whips make it look even taller. Rugged look.

P.S.- I think 15" rims rub on the 97' F-150s brake calipers. That's what my friend Brett said. Pretty pretty dumb if you ask me. I'd say offset 16's with 305mm tires. I know, I don't like the metric stuff either.

I'd suggest cranking up the torsion bars to level the truck and installing some 16x10 inch wheels and 305/70-16's (33x12.50). You may also have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance to fit this combo.

I don't think you can fit 15'' rims on a 97 because of the brakes. I cranked my torsion bars and put an add a leaf in the rear. I have 305/70/16's on 16x10 inch rims and only had to do minor trimming. The add a leaf is nice for the extra payload in the rear aswell.

I dont think they make a 15 inch rim with the proper off set and back spacing, cuz i looked into it for mine when i first got it and found nothing. 16X8 or 16X10 is ur best bet
