leveling kit for 02 f150

i just recently bought a 02 f150 4x4. i was looking to lever the truck out by not canking the bars up. i was looking at the daystar or ez lift leveling kit for it. my question is do i go with the 2 inch or 2.5 inch. and i would be running some some 285-75-16 firestone destination mts on it also.

any help would be great.

THe kits you are talking about are for the 04-05 F-150 which have coilover shocks instead of torsion bars. Just crank up the torsion bars a little and get the front end aligned and you will be fine.

yea that was the other choice. but i didnt want to mess with them. i guess i will do that and hopefully get away without a camber/caster kit.

A camber kit will still cost less than the leveling kits.

I cranked my torsion bars almost all the way to the stops to fit my 315s and then had an alignment done, the tech said the right front was off just a hair so it didn't affect it much. No need for a camber kit.....

Just follow the torsion bars back to the adjusment cam near the center of the truck. There is an adjustment bolt on each cam. Just turn each bolt an equal number of turns. Here's a pic.
