I have a 05 F150.

I use it for work, hunting, on hiway, off roading, towing etc. Im putting the trailmaster 2.5 " lift on the truck and im wondering what is the best shock to use with this? I was looking at the procomp es8000. is this a good choice? what are your suggestions...I want a good ride but control in off road situations.

 

There are not a lot of replacement coilover shocks available for the new F-150's, other than those used with lift kits. The Bilstien and Skyjacker are the only two that I can think of now. I read that Rancho was gonna make one, but I havn't seen it advertised.

 

Bilstiens it is. I have heard lots of good stuff about them.
