Lifting effecting gas milage

Hey guys,
From your experience has lifting your trucks changed the gas milage? I know adding bigger tires will, because of the exta load.
But what about lifing.
Thanks for the help

yes just lifting it will effect mpg, the reduced areodanatacity(like the spelling) but the big loss comes from the increased rolling risistance and unsprung whight caused by bigger tires, if you regear this can be reduced, i get about 11 mpg with all my mods

yes it is expensive(400-600$)per axle and it is complicated and time consuming to do needing tools the normal do it yourself mech may not have, bearing press, micromiter, but i have done my fare share of gear installs and if you take your time and have the right tools and follow instructions very well it can be done by you
