front end height

I'm sure this has been delt with but I didn't find it. I have a 99' F-150 4x4 and have the front end cranked up all the way to clear my 33" bfg's. I have heard of changing the front arms to F-250 ones. Is this right and if so what mods need to be made for them to fit? Please advise

are you taling about the heavy duty torsion bars from the 7700 payload package? If so, then yes you can get them on, you just need to move the crossmember back because they are longer.

Yes, you are thinking of the 7700# package torsion bars.

Some trucks dont require you to move the crossmembers, but either way, that is the only "mod" you have to do if required.

probs bob

NO way, the parts are comlpletely different in the front end, the only suspension parts off a f250 that would work are the leafs and u bolts but thats pointless man....u should look into buying the keys for your torsion bars...if u havent already

i dont know if you know this or not but there is a light duty f-250 that shares many parts with the f-150 also called a 7700, it is pretty much just a f-150 with beefed up suspension with a higher payload rating
