2004 F150 Stereo Upgrade
Does anyone know if there is a stereo installation kit
available for the 2004 F150 Extended Cab. I'm looking
to replace the factory AM/FM CD Player with an Alpine
Unit. The local parts stores here look at me like I'm speaking
a foreign language when I ask for the kit. Also need to
know if I can replace the Two-Part unit (CD Player is
seperate and located above the AM/FM) with a one
part unit without having change any wiring? THX RBOND

Scosche makes installation adapters and wiring adapters for the 2004 F150. The installation adapter replaces the factory unit with a standard DIN unit and a pocket beneath it. You can go to their website for the part numbers. Walmart handles most of these adapters.
