pro comp lift
Hey your truck looks awesome. I just bought a 6" procomp for my truck. Did you install it yourself. I am installing mine when It itgets here and was wandering if you ran into any problems when you installed it or any pointers you can give me. It should not be a problem I work on airplanes for a living but anything to make it easier or give me a heads up on would be greatly appreciated. If you did not do it yourself it still looks awesome and congratulations. Anyone else reading this and has any pointers are also welcome to reply. I bought the coilover pro-runner shocks for the front. I cannot tell by the pic if you got those, if so how do you like them? Any help will be greatly appreciated and once again congrats on an awesome looking truck. One more question, what kind of wheels are those? They look good.
Great looking truck.
It is nice to see you starting off right. With a Ford.
I have the 6" Pro-Comp lift, with 35" BFG Mud-Terrains, with 4:10 gears, and love my truck.
Just put on Weld Torque Loc wheels, Pro-Comp Skid Plate, and Sirius satillite radio. Have the Pro-Comp Traction Bars to put on, just haven't had time.
I have had Ford fever for 30 years. My first car was a 1966 Ford Mustang fastback, in 1976 and I have been hooked ever since. Had trucks for the last 25 years including a 2000 F-250, with 8" lift and 38's, 1996 Ford Ranger, Ford Explorer, and a 1969 Ford Bronco. My wife drives a 2001 Ford Expedition 4 x4 and we are getting ready to buy me 15 year old son a new F-150 or Ranger.
Right now I am waiting to order a 2006/07 Shelby Mustang to add to my truck.
Have fun and enjoy your truck. It can be a hobby that you get to enjoy everyday.
View pictures of my truck. I am going to update in the next week or so.

The wheels look like Pro-Comp Extreme alloys. I have a set of 18" x 9" in great shape and only 3 months old, for a 04-05 F-150, that I want to sell. I had ordered Weld Torque Loc's when I got the lift, and waited 3 months for them to come in, and just got them on.
I have to coil overs and the truck rides better than stock.
If you are interested in buying them send me a message.

Hey thanks guys for the compliments. Yes i do have the coilover set up on the front and i love it. It rides so nice. I took it out to the desert 4 days after i had the lift installed and it rode awesome. I didnt install it myself i had Robby Gordons shop install it. The rims are the procomp extreme alloys and they are awesome looking rims i love them. I was looking at the lift and it does not look hard to install at all. Your just basically lowering the stock parts. You shouldnt have any trouble installing it. Thanks again guys.
